It's been a busy weekend....don't really feel like writing too much at the moment.

"Dear Mr. McCullough
I am a first year Illustration student currently studying at the University of Gloucestershire in Cheltenham (I also post on deviantart as Judolynx). One of the requirements for my course is to compile a 'professional file', where we are asked to research a professional practitioner who authors their work.
I have been a big fan of your work for some time now. I admire your painting style very much - it includes the perfect balance of the grotesque, observed realism and abstraction/cartoonism that I am extremley interested in, aswell as being highly imaginative; your understanding of colour is phenomenal. I recentley used one of your pieces as an artistic reference in my personal research folder.
If your not too busy, would you be so good as to answer a few questions for me? It would be a great help and whole-heartedly appreciated.
How you got started in your career? How hard was it to work your way up to where you are now? Do you paint for pleasure as well as work? What sort of route did you take? Do you work from observation alot, or photographs? What medium of paint do you use? Do you sketch much? How often do you work? Where else is your work exhibited? What sort of clientele do you have? What market have you based yourself in (was it by choice or necessity)? Is your income steady or sporadic? Is it hard to find work at times? What aspirations do you have for the future?
Any other useful information or advice you feel might be helpful please do not hesitate to impart.
Yours Sincerely,
Jack Coltman"
This is a wonderful honor and it has made me very pleased.
